The main purpose is to evaluate the feasibility of a design that uses multiple FFT intellectual properties (IPs) to process small portions of a larger signal. Additionally, this work aims to explore the parallelism and high-speed processing intrinsic to an FPGA in the context of electronic warfare applications. Therefore, this study intends to provide a solution capable of straightly interact with the high throughput originated by radio frequency front-ends, and quickly supply frequency domain information of the incoming signals to the detection and estimation units. The proposed architecture was implemented and tested on a Zybo Z7-20 development board. The experiments show that the parallel bank of FFT IPs is realizable and in fact delivers higher performance when compared to a software-based implementation. |

Three gyroscope noise models were studied and validated by calculating the Allan variance. Then, the trajectory was simulated to compare two types of gyroscope, one interferometric optic fiber gyroscope and one micro-electro-mechanical system gyroscope. The difference between the reference trajectory and the trajectory calculated using an ideal gyroscope is 0.20 km (? 1% error). The difference between the reference trajectory and the trajectory with the IFOG is 4.66 km (? 16% error). The difference between the reference trajectory and the trajectory with the MEMS is 5.92 km (? 20% error). As for the final attitude, it showed a negligible error with both types of gyroscopes. The results showed that the navigation and control algorithm used was able to correctly stabilize the vehicle?s attitude. However, it still requires improvements to follow the desired trajectory and not just the attitude. |

A pesquisa visa verificar a eficiência dos filmes quanto à atenuação da energia da onda eletromagnética incidente na faixa de frequência microondas (8-12 GHz), visto que é a faixa compreendida pelos radares na indústria de defesa aeronáutica. O procedimento realizado consistia em submeter as amostras a processos de aquecimento controlado em diferentes temperaturas, variando de 80 ? 140°C. Verificou-se alterações na continuidade dos filmes e gerações de defeitos, que foram responsáveis por alterar suas propriedades de absorção. |
